Crested Butte Nordic maintains 55 kilometers of immaculately groomed trails around the Town of Crested Butte and offers complete ski and snowshoe rental packages, private lessons, clinics, and tours, as well as fine yurt dining.

Lessons
Whether you have never skied cross-country, or could use some fine-tuning, a lesson can make all the difference. Our Nordic Center has a team of friendly, experienced cross country ski instructors that will help you take your skiing to the next level! All lessons are available by reservation only.
Group Lesson rates are 60 minutes long, teach classic technique and cost $60 per person.
Private lessons are 75 minute long and costs $70 per person. Video analysis is also available.
They offer group lessons and private lessons every day at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m., and 1:30 p.m.
Weekend Clinics
These half day (2.5 hours on snow) clinics are held on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to noon. They are for skiers who want to improve their skiing technique and efficiency. Participants should be comfortable on skis, have the ability to get up some hills, and safely stop on downhills.
Clinics will focus on:

Skills including proper body position, efficient movement, and poling techniques.

Drills to reinforce good habits.

Video Analysis to address specific issues with each skier.
There is a 3 person minimum in each clinic.
Cost ranges from $80 to $90 per person.
Backcountry Snowshoe and Cross Country Ski Tours
Explore the spectacular terrain around Crested Butte with the security of an experienced guide. Whether you’re new to CB, new to snowshoeing or cross country skiing, or new to winter entirely, a guided tour is a terrific way to enjoy a half or full day winter adventure. All tours are led by our safe, friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced guides. Tours safely explore the valleys of the Slate River, Washington Gulch, Brush Creek, and the historic mining town of Gothic, as well as other pristine destinations.
Tours are offered 7 days a week and must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance

For your tour
Meet at the Nordic Center at 9:15 a.m. Dress to be active outside in all weather; this means bringing clothes for cold and warm weather. Bring a backpack, water, and food.
Cost is $90 ($60 for each additional person)
